3297A Daughter

3297A is on track to becoming our most influential sire yet!  We feel he is destined to become one of the top Line One bulls in history.  He is a well rounded bull who excels in nearly every trait.  3297A is a powerfully made athlete who travels with ease and covers a lot of cows.  His first few years he was used in three different herds in three different states, Holden Herefords of Valier, Montana used him early spring, we used him late spring and Evans and Blackjack of Kansas used him in the fall. We all used him heavily and he never let us down all the while holding great condition.  3297A sires light enough birth weight that we’ve used him on heifers. He sires tremendous growth, lots of length and thickness.  3297A is also an outstanding carcass bull.  He is in the top 1% on Rib Eye and CHB EPD's, and 20% on Marbling.  His offspring have a average rib eye ratio of 103.9 and average marbling ratio of 104.4.  3297A also sired Holden's high selling sire group in their 2018 bull sale.  3297A’s dam has been a big time herd bull producer.  In 2016, she was the dam of Holden’s top selling bull, HH Advance 5107C ET, who sold to Flying S for $160,000.  She sold in Holden’s female sale for $31,000 to Hoffman Ranch. This year we calved our first 3297A daughters and we couldn’t be more pleased. They are very fertile, raise big calves and have great udders. Other things we appreciate about 3297A is his great disposition and also his pigmentation, which is extremely important to us with the intense sun at our elevation. His offspring have also PAP tested very well which is important to us and our high altitude customers.  Although B&D Herefords of Claflin, Kansas now owns full possession on 3297A, he will have a continued impact for us through AI as well as using two of his top sons next year.
